The rapper wore a jaw-dropping look designed by Eli Russell Linnetz, the nominee for the new American designer of the year

Kid Cudi delivered the bridal energy at the 2021 CFDA awards ceremony.

The rapper looked like he was ready to walk down the aisle in a full-lace suit designed by Eli Russell Linnetz, CFDA's nominee for the new American designer of the year, to participate in the fashion feast on Wednesday.

"I suddenly sent him a text message about a wedding dress, and I thought,'Would you like to be my bride?'" Linnetz, who designed for his brand ERL, told people specifically.

Cudi's wedding-inspired styling uses a full-lace bodysuit with a matching tea dress and a stylish white suit jacket. Instead of choosing high heels, he chose white sneakers with decorations to add some advantages. Of course, if the veil is not declared, the ensemble will be incomplete.

"I believe in this man, so no matter where his mind goes, I am willing to accept it," Cudi told People.

He decorated the appearance with a meaningful pendant necklace. "This is Black Jesus—dark chocolate brown," Cuddy added.

Cudi and Linnetz walked on the red carpet of the CFDA awards ceremony. Linnetz is one of five up-and-coming designers recognized for his impressive achievements in fashion.

Linnetz is a native of Venice Beach, and he did it all. Throughout his career, Linnetz directed music videos for Kanye West, co-produced an album for Kid Cudi, wrote songs for Teyana Taylor, designed the stage for Lady Gaga and established his surf-inspired label ERL.

When the fashion designer discovered his CFDA honor, he happened to be dressing Met Gala for A$AP Rocky. (The rapper wears Linnetz's multicolor quilt designer on the red carpet).

"It was an overwhelming moment of ecstasy. I didn't really deal with it until that night. I'm not a person to celebrate," Linnetz said. "The next day, I began to draft what I would wear to the CFDA awards ceremony."
